continually STRIVING FOR THat SPLIT ONE THOUSANDTH OF A SECOND WHEN NATURE and MY CAMERA ARE perfectly SYNCHRONIZED

Living in Florida for over 40 years instilled me a love of wildlife and nature. Although, my friends once knew me for my fanaticism in eliminating items from my backpack to ensure I was carrying as little weight as possible on treks to the summits to Kilimanjaro and Mt. Rainier, non-stop South Rim to North Rim to South Rim hikes of the Grand Canyon and hikes throughout our country’s many National Parks, I am now known for carrying nearly 40 pounds of camera equipment wherever I believe it is necessary to capture a special moment.

When I have a particular image in mind, it is not uncommon for me to spend fifty hours or more waiting patiently for what I refer to as that split one thousandth of a second when nature and my camera are perfectly synchronized. The same attention to detail that I apply to my photography, I apply as a Shareholder of the Gunster law firm.  I serve on the Firm’s Board of Directors and help our clients make money and stay out of trouble by providing trusted counsel in the areas of
Technology Law, Venture Capital, Licensing & Distribution, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

I deeply appreciative of my wife of over 25 years, Beth, and my daughters, Rachel and Lauren, for supporting and encouraging my photography and their willingness to “just come look at one more image before going to bed."

My images are displayed at a 5 Star vacation home rental in Estes Park, Colorado called Awestruck.
